Elect David Gauny

On February 25, 2010, the Santa Clarita Valley California Republican Assembly convened to select up to three candidates to receive endorsements in the upcoming SCV City Council election. In order to garner an endorsement, candidates must receive a two-thirds majority vote of CRA members present; at this particular meeting, hopeful candidates needed to earn twenty-eight votes. In the first round of voting, David Gauny received an impressive thirty-four votes, twice that of the first runner up. During the course of the balloting, no other candidate accrued the votes necessary to receive an endorsement.

Says the West Ranch Beacon: “After all the voting was over David Gauny emerged as the clear winner in the evening as he continues his campaign to bring integrity to Santa Clarita City Hall. Gauny is getting a lot of traction with local voters as he campaigns on a platform of honesty, integrity and representing the residents of the City should he be elected.”
